Author Talks

Heather Hansen, author of Wild Fire
August 11, 10am – 12am
With the prospect of another potentially serious wildfire season ahead of us, the library is pleased to host Heather Hansen, journalist and author who will talk about her experiences in writing Wildfire: On the Line with Station 8. “Throughout the 2016 wildfire season, journalist Heather Hansen witnessed firsthand the heroics of the Station 8 crew in Boulder, Colorado. Wildfire shares the drama, hardships, and experiences of the firefighters who try, sometimes in vain, to prevent destruction when a spark flares out of control.”

Watch our events schedule for upcoming talks with local and regional authors.
