Nederland students and students from the Netherlands are collaborating on a project that promotes the value of global cooperation and learning. The program culminates in a 10-day homestay exchange the summer of 2024.

Colorado Itinerary

Monday July 1–Welcome to Colorado.    Evening airport pick-up.

Tuesday July 2–Meet at Library 1pm for an afternoon mountain bike ride with Peak To Peak Endurance
6pm–Potluck and campfire (weather permitting)  in the mountains of Nederland  (all families and friends invited)

Wednesday July 3–Greeley Rodeo!

Thursday July 4–Nederland 4th of July Parade.  Community BBQ and Old Tyme Lawn Games.

Estes Park Fireworks and camping overnight.

Friday July 5–Estes Park hiking/horseback riding.

Saturday July 6–Family Day.  Evening Rockies Baseball Game.

Sunday July 7–TBD

Monday July 8–  CU Boulder Project Day
6pm–Stories and Desserts from around the world at the Library.  Dutch student presentation.

Tuesday July 9--CU Boulder Project Day; tour National Center for Atmospheric Research and National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration campus.

Wednesday July 10–  Brainard Lake hiking and Family Potluck at Brainard Lake cabin.

Thursday July 11–Leave for the Netherlands.
