Part two of a four month program that will explore a different science-related theme each month by discussing both a book and some short, related video clips.
This program (Pushing the Limits) is a reading, viewing, and discussion program for adults in communities served by rural libraries, made possible by a grant from the National Science Foundation.
April’s theme is Connection and we will be discussing
Erik Larson’s Thunderstruck
The discussions will be co-moderated by Irene Shonle and Jay Mann. Irene has a PhD in Ecology and Evolution from the University of Chicago, and is Director of CSU Extension in Gilpin County.
Limited to 15 participants. Book provided with registration; light snacks will be served.
